The National Parks released their debut album – Young – in September 2013 and the album has risen as high as #13 on the iTunes singer/songwriter chart. In January of 2014 the band released a new single – As We Ran – and that song saw similar success, hitting top 40 on that same chart. Enjoy some tracks from our album on the player to the right.

The National Parks might be called an Indie-Folk-Americana band but putting them into any one category doesn’t really seem to fit right. Formed in Provo, Utah, the band plays music the way people like to hear it – foot stomping beats, lyrics that sink deep to the heart, melodies that hang and hum in the head in the most pleasant ways, and tilt-your-head-back-and-let-it-rip vocals. Brady Parks (Denver, CO) handles the guitar, kick drum and vocals, Sydney Carling (Salt Lake City, UT) adds her breathtaking voice while also handling the keyboard, some tambourine, and glockenspiel, and Paige Wagner (Modesto, CA) fills out The National Parks’ unique sound with remarkable skill on the violin.
The National Parks have played shows in Utah, Idaho, Nevada, California, Colorado and Washington and have shared the stage with performers such as Matt Costa, Joshua James, Tyler Glen of Neon Trees, Rocky Votolato, The Moth & The Flame, Ryan Innes, Desert Noises and others.
The Lumineers, Of Monsters and Men, Mumford & Sons
